Special Olympics USA Games Minnesota 2026 Tentative Information
The 2026 Special Olympics USA Games will take place June 20-26, 2026 in venues at the University of Minnesota and other premier locations across the Twin Cities. The Games will be one of the biggest sporting events of the year, drawing tens of thousands of fans to celebrate the ability of over 4,000 incredible athletes from all 50 states as they compete in 19 Olympic-type teams and individual sports.
Below is the beginning of the selection process:
2024
October 8th – November 8th: Coach Applications are open
October 8th – November 13th: Athlete Applications are open
The sports we were selected for are: Softball, Athletics, Unified Bocce, Swimming, Unified Basketball (Unified Champion Schools only), Unified Bowling, and Powerlifting . We are estimating a delegation of approximately 66.
