Soccer is possibly the world’s most popular team sport. It’s also starting to gain popularity within Special Olympics South Dakota.

Participants will be divisioned by Special Olympics South Dakota by the oldest person on your team. Age divisions: Junior | 8-15 years old, Schooler | 16-21 years old, and Senior | 22 + years old.

This sport offers a Unified option. This gives individuals both with and without intellectual disabilities a chance to compete on the same team. This sport also offers Individual Skills, which gives lower-ability or new athletes a chance to compete and showcase the skills they are learning in that sport.

Coaches: registrations will be due to your Area Director on April 8th.

Sports certifications must be updated every three years. Please click here to verify which coaching level you are at and take the proper courses to recertify your coaching status.
