HARRISBURG, S.D. – Special Olympics South Dakota will host the annual Southeast Area Basketball Tournament on Saturday, Feb. 28th, at Harrisburg High School.
The tournament will bring together 15 different delegations across the southeastern portion of the state. More than 600 Special Olympics athletes, Unified partners (individuals without intellectual disabilities), and coaches will come together for a day of competition.
The area competitions lead up to our State Basketball Tournament in Mitchell on March 28-29.
Community members are invited to attend and cheer on the athletes throughout the day. Admission is free, and the event is open to the public.
