Meet Kayla! 
Kayla has been a Unified Partner with the Hub City Express delegation for 3 years now! She participates in cheerleading and bocce. She started her love for Special Olympics by volunteering at region and state bowling back in 2019.
Outside of Special Olympics, she is a senior special education major at Northern State University. She enjoys traveling, photography, watching hockey, shopping, and being with her amazing friends. She also works at the Youth Development Center with school-age kids.
Some of her favorite memories would be visiting Rapid City for state bocce or having their end-of-the-year picnic/potluck at the lake. She loves seeing athletes across the state compete and lift each other up, win or lose – it’s a beautiful and unique experience every time!
